The Baltimore extension railway: Coronea cutting

A deep cutting in the Skibbereen townland of Coronea, excavated around 1893 for the Balfour extension line to Baltimore, now a one-way street. Below, some photos from 1961, and from 1962 (after the line had closed). Here is the map location.
